The Gallery at Creative Pinellas

Creating a nexus of nature, history, and the arts, the Gallery at Creative Pinellas serves as a bridge between the Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village, offering exhibitions and programs that frequently use the arts to showcase different aspects of nature and history.

The gallery is free to the public, hosting exhibitions by internationally lauded artists as well as emerging artists on the cusp of exploding onto the national/international arts scene. It is a 10,000-square-foot gallery space with vaulted ceilings, an abundance of natural light, and a combination of large gallery space and more intimate rooms that provide a near-perfect environment to enjoy a high-quality visual arts experience.

The gallery has become known for curating special exhibits and programs that use the arts to highlight issues important to the community, from the environment to substance abuse to artificial intelligence. It also supports local yearly initiatives such as Youth Art Month and the Pinellas African American Heritage Celebration.

At the nearby auditorium, visitors can be part of various monthly conversations with leading artists and thought leaders, watch films and staged readings, or hear poets and authors read their work.

After enjoying the art and the programming, grab a refreshment at the gallery’s cafe and create your own artwork in the hands-on “Drawing Room.” Then stop by the gallery’s Visitor Center to learn more about the Arts Coast, home to both world-class arts experiences and the world’s most beautiful beaches.
