Now in its 12th year, the Sunscreen Film Camp has grown each year in size and in the quality of work our students are producing. The Camp is for young filmmakers age 14-18.

Weekdays July 8-26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Studio@620 in downtown St. Petersburg.

  • Students learn about teamwork and collaboration. They are assigned to teams to make a short film and must learn to work together for the success of the film.
  • Students learn from professional actors, directors, producers, editors, screenwriters, etc.
  • Students learn about the many jobs associated with filmmaking.
  • Students explore many facets of creativity. Each brings to the table their life experiences. They build confidence in their creative expressions.
