The Tampa Museum of Art invites applications for an experienced Registrar.

This position is a vital member of the small but dynamic curatorial team, working closely with the Richard E. Perry Curator of Greek and Roman Art, the Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Chief Preparator/Exhibition Designer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide general oversight for the care of Museum’s diverse collection of over 7,000 objects as well as its library and archive.
  • Administer all collections care and management documentation for permanent, incoming and outgoing artworks
  • Work with the Chief Financial Officer and Curatorial Department to prepare exhibition and operating budgets.
  • Participate in the development of the Museum’s annual exhibition calendar and scheduling of all aspects of exhibition changeovers.
