Pinellas Trail ArtWorks

Creative Pinellas, in partnership with Pinellas County Public Works and Florida Department of Transportation, is selecting four Pinellas County based artists to design and paint murals on the tunnel entrances of two Pinellas Trail tunnels located in Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs. The application period has closed and artists will be announced soon.

Important Dates

  • Call for Entries Opens: April 5
  • Call for Entries Closes: April 30, 12pm
  • Painting Palm Harbor: Aug. 1 – Aug. 15
  • Painting Tarpon Springs: Aug. 15 – Sept. 1

Meet the artists selected for the Pinellas Trail Mural Program: Ricardo Delgado, Yhali Ilan, Daniel Barojas, & Taylor Smith! They welcome input from the community as they plan for the design and painting of murals on the entrances of two Pinellas Trail tunnels, one in Palm Harbor and one in Tarpon Springs. Pinellas Trail ArtWorks

Pinellas Trail ArtWorks is a partnership between Creative Pinellas and Pinellas County Public Works, with a goal to defeat graffiti and to foster community beautification projects along the Pinellas Trail. We are looking to create appealing spaces, build excitement and interest in the trail and recognize the pride residents have in their community while discouraging the types of graffiti that can detract from the enjoyment of the space.

Creative Pinellas is looking to gage community interest and excitement in the project and we invite you to submit feedback by completing a brief survey.
