Marques Anton Clark

Marques Anton Clark is a youth minister and a poet who reaches out to the community through his enterprises Marques Clark Motivation and S W.E.T.4.Life Mentoring. The St. Petersburg resident, St. Petersburg College and Dixie Hollins High School alum has made it both his personal and professional mission to inspire people of all ages to find their personal and spiritual voice, overcome obstacles, connect, strengthen family bonds and to speak out to promote diversity and call attention to injustices. Clark delivered the State of the Community Address speech at the first SCLC Southern Christian Leadership Conference Banquet, presented at the St. Petersburg Museum of History on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The “disciple, servant, preacher, teacher and outreacher” can be seen at Black on Black Rhyme spoken word events and other engagements throughout the Tampa Bay area.
