Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is available to businesses and residents whose employment or self-employment was lost or interrupted as a direct result of Hurricane Helene and are not eligible for regular state or federal Reemployment Assistance benefits. To file a claim, go to www.FloridaJobs.org and select “File a Claim” or call 1-800-385-3920 (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

Arts organizations that qualify can apply for FEMA through the Public Assistance Online Grants Portal. Applicants can use the Public Assistance Grants Portal to register for and update an applicant profile, submit a “Request for Public Assistance,” and upload documents.

There is one currently open at Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Dr, to assist residents affected by Hurricane Helene.
The Disaster Recovery Center is open from:
9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Wednesday,
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday

Cultural institutions, arts organizations, artists and performing groups can call the National Heritage Responders hotline to speak to trained conservators and collections care professionals. They can be reached at 202.661.8068, and are available 24/7.

Crisis Cleanup: Crisis Cleanup has activated the Hurricane #Helene Cleanup Hotline: (844) 965-1386. This is for people who need help cleaning up damage from Hurricane Helene. This hotline will remain open through Friday, October 11, 2024.
