DESCRIPTION:Coffee with the Curator Featuring Helen French \nWednesday\, October 13 at 12PM on Facebook Live \nTake a live virtual tour of the current exhibition “Capturing the Ephemeral” with the curator and Creative Pinellas Artist Laureate Helen French. Learn more about the artwork and ask your own questions live! Capturing the Ephemeral is a group exhibition currently on view at the Gallery at Creative Pinellas. \nThe exhibition features the dance photography of Martha Ascencio-Rhine\, Sorcha Augustine\, Denzel Johnson-Green\, Boyzell Hosey\, Tom Kramer\, John Pendygraft\, Ricardo Romero\, Erin Tindol\, and Angel Marie Tisdale. From the studio to the stage\, these dance photographers capture bodies in motion and the fleeting moments that make the art of dance so compelling. \nHelen French is a choreographer\, dancer\, and arts educator. She received her BFA from The Juilliard School\, and her MFA from Hollins University. Helen is a founding member of the St. Petersburg Dance Alliance\, serves on the board of the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance\, and co-produces Beacon: a performance series for St. Pete which takes place annually at The Palladium where she is an Artist in Residence. She is also the current Creative Pinellas Artist Laureate and a Creative Pinellas Professional Artist Grantee.
