DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, hundreds of Pinellas County residents participated in our WE Convene initiative exploring the many ways that the arts support a connected and thriving world. \nWe discovered multiple examples of the way art amplifies our deeply held civic values and strengthens our bonds to each other. We examined best practices and trends in public and performing arts\, dove into accessibility\, equity\, and economic well-being for artists\, and looked at the role of both tourism and arts education in elevating our community well-being. \nWe convened\, we listened\, and we learned. \nAnd now… we are going CURRENT. \nCURRENT continues our quest to answer your questions about the needs and future aspirations of the creative community in Pinellas County\, and will result in widespread support for the equitable and vibrant development of our arts and cultural partners and Pinellas County as an arts and cultural destination for the next five to ten years. \nWe invite everyone with an interest in shaping the future of Pinellas County to lend your experience to the planning process. \nJoin us for the CURRENT Kick-off!
