DESCRIPTION:Join us for DARKMATTER\, an immersive exhibition of works by internationally-acclaimed sculptor and multi-disciplinary artist Jason Hackenwerth.\nThis exhibition will take viewers on an awe-inspiring journey through turbulence and drama to transcendence and joy. Two massive sculptures made in the artist’s signature vocabulary of latex balloons will anchor the show in the main gallery and will be accompanied by huge paintings and a scintillating retrospective of more than 50 drawings and images of Hackenwerth’s exhibitions from the past 20 years. DARKMATTER will be an inspiration for the whole family\, promising intrigue and surprise. \nAt Creative Pinellas (noon – 5 pm / Workshop 1 pm):\nJoin Artist Jason Hackenwerth at 1pm as he leads a FREE DARKMATTER Family Arts Workshop teaching how to create sculpture using balloons!
