Registration Deadline: July 19

The Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St. Petersburg is offering the Wild Creations Camp, designed for rising 6th to 9th graders who identify as female. The camp takes place July 22-26.

During this empowering and educational week, we will learn about traditional female roles, historical and contemporary female artists and others who have challenged these roles, from women within the MFA Curatorial staff.

This week will incorporate mindfulness and yoga specifically catered to the empowerment of young women, helping to recognize a new emergent path for strong and confident women. Students will gain tools for social emotional management through mindfulness and yoga coupled with the expression of their emotions through painting, drawing and collage.

Details and registration information can be found at mfastpete.org/event/summer-camp-session-2-wild-creations-empowerment-camp-for-young-women.

Scholarships are available thorough May 31 via Creative Pinellas. Find out more at creativepinellas.org/artscatalyst.
