The Clearwater Downtown Development Board, in partnership with the Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency and the Clearwater Arts Alliance, is looking for short films shot in, around and about Downtown Clearwater.

Submissions must be 60 seconds or less and should feature the unique sights, sounds and locations of Downtown Clearwater. Films featuring authentic, uncommon and inventive perspectives from diverse sources are preferred.

Entries will be judged by a panel of filmmakers, artists, community members and Downtown business owners. The highest scoring entries will be used in an upcoming social media marketing campaign focused on authentic stories and perspectives of Downtown Clearwater. Cash prizes will be awarded in three categories: $2,000 First Place, $1,500 Second Place, and $750 Third Place.

To enter:

  • Email info@clearwaterartsalliance.org with your name, telephone number, email address and a brief description of your video. Put “Downtown Clearwater Video Entry” in the subject line of the email.
  • Label your video file with your name and save in MP4 format (LAST NAME.CAA.mp4). When you receive an email from the Clearwater Arts Alliance dropbox, please follow the link to upload your video.
