Deadline: December 15

At Kelwood Contemporary Art in Baton Rouge we’ve been distressed by the way our country has been treating asylum seekers and displacing children. We keep hearing people say, “What is going on? This is not my America!” But we heard the exact same sentiment during a previous administration, for completely different reasons.

This year’s Finding Your Voice is focusing on America Today. America is experiencing the growing pains that come with change.

We are hoping to curate a show of 2-D and 3-D works as well as audio and video, that gives a glimpse into how you are creating art in reaction to what you feel is going on in our country. We are looking for work from all perspectives, as we hope to stimulate dialogue through this show.
