Roxanne Fay is an actor, playwright and Artistic Director for
Circle in The Water.
Circle In The Water’s most recent production, Breadcrumbs, garnered high critical praise.
Most recently, Roxanne was awarded the 2022 Creative Pinellas Professional Artist Grant (which she also received in 2017).
As playwright, Roxanne has been awarded the Hawthornden Writers’ Fellowship at Hawthornden Castle, Scotland and residency by the Hosking House Trust in Stratford Upon Avon. Roxanne is a regular theatre coordinator for the Dali Museum, and her first film, Breton And The Muse: A Midnight In Paris, was a focal point of their exhibition coordinated with Le Centre Pompidou (Paris). The film went on to be selected for several film festivals. Roxanne’s plays have been produced in New York, Florida and Europe.
As an actor, Roxanne has been recognized for her work with Bridge Street Theatre (NY) in Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Leni, and The Effect Of Gamma Rays On Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds. She returns this season for The Lion In Winter.
This summer, Roxanne will be part of the Summer Intensive company with Prague Shakespeare in the Czech Republic.
Past roles include Sister Aloysius in Doubt, Prospero (The Tempest), Feste (Twelfth Night), Touchstone (As You Like It), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing), and Paige in HIR (recognized in top 10 performances of the decade), Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, and Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart.
Roxanne is an Artistic Associate and board member with
Jobsite Theater (Tampa, FL).
