A Sensory Art Experience

An Exhibition of works that are not only visual, but textural, interactive or auditory – Artwork that invites the viewer to see, touch and hear! Art SENSEation: See, Touch, Hear Me is a partnership between Arts4All Florida, Florida Craft Art, and Creative Pinellas.

Exhibit – January 31st – February 16th

A sensory art experience that includes original two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork that is meant to be touched and enjoyed by people of all abilities. Much of the artwork displayed was created by artists with sensory disabilities in cooperation with Arts4All Florida, whose mission is to provide, support and champion arts education and cultural experiences for and by people with disabilities. An Experience/Sensory Collection developed by Florida CraftArt will be on exhibit as well. This collection of 17 works of art, accessible to a diversity of senses, is meant to be viewed, touched and even strummed in some cases. Art SENSEation: See, Touch, Hear Me is a partnership between Arts4All Florida, Florida Craft Art, and Creative Pinellas. All three of these non-profit organizations work to increase accessibility and enjoyment of art and art experiences in the area for all.

Featuring the Work of Horst W. Mueller

Horst W. Mueller is a champion of making art accessible to disabled people, adults and children alike. His artwork exudes the philosphy of “Even hands can see” and encourages the blind, visually impaired and anyone who wants to touch his paintings to explore the images for themselves. Mueller is an artist originally from Germany and based in Florida, known for his three dimensional works. Creating art that can be experienced by people of all abilities has become his artistic direction and passion.

Led by artist Horst W. Mueller
Creating art that can be experienced by the blind and visually impaired has become his artistic direction and passion. After a career as an engineer with positions worldwide, Mueller now dedicates his life to the arts and public service.
