Mummies and Masterpieces is a unique after-school and enrichment program that introduces kids in preschool-8th grade to the world of museums.

Children explore and are inspired by worldwide museum collections through slide discussions, learning-to-look games and hands-on art workshops. All masterpiece discussions are child-centered and inquiry-based and all hands-on workshops are developmentally appropriate and process-based. The goal of our programs is to reach and teach all kinds of learners and to enable them to feel success. Together, we wonder, question, explore, create, and problem-solve.

Our programs are one hour long and take place in schools, religious institutions, community centers, park districts and libraries in Tampa. Times vary but most are after 2:30 or 3:00.

We offer over 50 enrichment themes, including Children in Art, Sports in Art, Animals in Art, Music in Art, and Fashion in Art. Mummies and Masterpieces invites you to join our creative, professional and exciting network of museum educators.
