Patron Services Coordinator
Salary Range: $28,803 – $46,403 D.O.Q.

This position is a key liaison to patrons and museum visitors.

Directly supports the financial goals of the Tarpon Arts segment of the department and interfaces with Library staff for joint ventures, as directed. Duties include but are not limited to, selling tickets, coordinating and scheduling Tarpon Arts volunteers and docents; overseeing Tarpon Arts’ venues; acting as the Patron and Artist Liaison for all performances as well as being the Community Show Liaison for community theater, opera and local talent.

Performs general duties that support department personnel and contribute to excellent customer service, such as selling tickets in person and via phone at all venues, when needed; assisting patrons in venues; receiving/receipting payments of monies, fees, donations, concessions for all venues as well as balancing cash drawer, preparing deposits, coordinating bank deposit pick-ups and reviewing daily cash edit reports, as needed.

Qualifications: Four-year degree or 3+ years of experience in a similar role; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in database creation and maintenance, business letter writing; strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to maintain confidential information. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation. This position involves irregular work hours, including evenings and weekends; travel between venues and ability to work with varied personalities under a range of conditions.

Department Administrator: Cultural and Civic Services
Salary Range: $28,803 – $46,403 D.O.Q.

This position oversees the daily operations of the Tarpon Arts segment of the Cultural & Civic Services Department and serves as a liaison to the Library segment of the department.

Responsible for efficient and accurate management of all financial and budgetary requirements within the department. Duties include processing all cash edits and deposits; analyzing and tracking of invoices, purchase orders, FPO’s, purchasing card transactions; developing and maintaining spreadsheets as required; payroll management; acting as main department expert for Tarpon Arts Ticketing System Software; providing department support via general office administrative tasks; acting as the contract coordinator for the Tarpon Arts’ current season, including obtaining right and royalties for theater productions, contract maintenance and servicing.

Performs general duties that support department personnel and contribute to excellent customer service, such as working in ticket sales offices in any of the venues, when needed; receiving/receipting payments of monies, fees, donations, concessions for all venues as well as balancing cash drawer, preparing deposits, coordinating bank deposit pick-ups and reviewing daily cash edit reports, as needed.

Marketing & Events Specialist: Cultural and Services Department
Salary Range: $31,756 – $51,161 D.O.Q.

This position is for a creative thinker with excellent social media skills, a keen eye for artistic design and balance, plus some graphic design experience.

This highly visible position directly supports the marketing goals of the Tarpon Arts segment of the department and interfaces with the Library staff for joint ventures, as directed. Handles the social media presence for the Tarpon Arts segment of the department and assists the Library segment, as requested.

Duties include handling the social media presence of Tarpon Arts through use of Google Analytics, creating a YouTube channel and additional sites; directing and increasing member numbers in the Tarpon Arts Membership program; promoting Group Sales for Performances and Museums; performing marketing support functions; supporting department personnel and contributing to excellent customer service.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in a similar role; experience in marketing data analytics and tools; understanding of marketing elements including traditional and digital marketing, and market research methods; solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing graphics software and applications; exceptional communication, writing, organizational and thinking skills; must be able to maintain confidential information. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation. This position involves irregular work hours, including evenings and weekends; travel between venues and ability to work with varied personalities under a range of conditions.
