The Ringling Museum in Sarasota is seeking drummers to participate in a performance next summer, August 12-September 9. Created by Ezra Masch, Big Bang fuses music and lights into an immersive installation.

Live audio from a drum set will be mapped into a grid of lights. Drummers are invited to create live improvised performances, responding to the visual patterns and forms generated in the lights as they play. It is a unique musical experience for the performer as well as the audience member.

If you are interested in performing in this exhibition or would like more information, please contact Sonja Shea at Sonja.shea@Ringling.org
