Florida Museum of Photographic Arts Seeks Seniors
Deadline: March 1
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) in downtown Tampa would like to invite senior residents to participate in our second annual Senior Photography Show, Forever Young.
We would love as many seniors in the area to get involved as possible, so don’t hesitate to share this information with friends and family. We can’t wait to see all the amazing images you have to offer and hope to see some of your entries in our gallery this February.
Open to local residents and FMoPA members within the senior age group (ages 55+). Both digital and physical entries will be accepted.
Participants have until March 1st, 2018 to submit and drop off their work. There is a required admission fee of $15 for members and $35 for non-members.
“This is a great opportunity for older photographers both amateur and seasoned alike to get creative, show off their skills, and contribute to making Tampa Bay’s art community vibrant and diverse,” says Zora Carrier, PhD, FMoPA’s Executive Director.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA collects, preserves and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographic artists. FMoPA also enriches the community by operating outreach programs for children and adults and by offering an extensive array of photography classes.
